Passions, Ambitions, and Desires. My Love of Winning the Euro Millions plus Living a Life-time of Luxurious Existance for the Remainder of My Life

Posted by admin on April 30th, 2009 — Posted in Games + Cheats, Lady Luck, Lucky Bets

My acquaintance Bob contacts me on the telephone to inform me that he’s found some on-line gambling websites that I simply have to see. I’ve never really been big into gambling, but I figured OK, I will give it a try. So I tested out some black jack and poker, but truthfully, they just are not my cup of tea. Then I see these online e-lottery sites and I figure that through cyberspace I can take part in lots of different lotteries around the world. Now to me this looks a lot more joy, so I reckon I will give it a test. Firstly I tried out my luck at euro millions, you know a European lottery. I picked my e-lottery winning numbers and then awaited and daydreamed that I will win it big. I didn’t on that occasion but when the euro millions numbers came in; I was highly surprised to realise that I had actually come very close to the winning lottery numbers. I tested out a few other lotteries, only I felt that I did come so close the first time on the euro lotto, that I just had to give it one more shot. So far, I haven’t won a bucket load of pounds, but then, I have scooped some money, and so I carry on playing the euro millions and picking lottery winning numbers, going for the big win. I am one of those individuals who like to believe in the possibility of hitting the jackpot, because it is hard to reckon making that sort of money any other way.

As for my friend, he still carries on with his love of internet gambling and finds himself at the online casino for at least 60 minutes a day. He too has won some money, but it has high’s and low’s and the difference is, when you lose at gambling you normally lose a lot but then, when you lose at the lottery, it doesn’t cost you as near as much. I reckon that the lotto is the only path for me to go plus the idea of winning it big and on top of that, it is only costing me simply a few pounds “makes it more appealing”.

This story about Diane’s life was very hard to put down once I started reading it. It kept me on my toes knowing that so much was going on all the time in her life. While reading her book, I felt all her pain and heartache that she was going throughtears fell as each chapter was read.

In the beginning of her life, she grew up in a more than just poor familythey were the poorest family in the town. Her parents were not there for her like parents should have been. The family did what they could just to put a piece of bread on the table to eat. Not having running waterthe poor conditions she had to live in and now being placed in foster care. She lived in several foster homes and was abused in one of the homesthat in itself was a great deal to handle.

Diane was out on her own at a young agewhen most girls are having the time of their livesDiane had all she could do to keep herself alive. The relationships that she dealt with that brought more abuse in her life as an adultthat was more than most people could endure in a life time. Diane having to live her life on the run not being able to enjoy what life had to bring. Finally finding that special angel, her husband Davidthe only person in her life that she could really trust and love for the rest of her life. She found happiness in love at last.

Anyone reading this book will know that Diane went through so much physical, sexual, and emotional abuse in her life time. How did she survive it all? How that Diane has written her story to share to help others with her own life experiences. This story may make such an impact on others and maybe they will realize that they do not have to deal with abuse alone.

I strongly suggest others to read this book.

A Christmas Carol: Why Did Dickens Call It A Carol?

Posted by admin on April 27th, 2009 — Posted in Bookstuff

In early December of 1843, Charles Dickens completed the manuscript for a little ghost story about Christmas. He called it A Christmas Carol and the publisher printed the first copies a week before Christmas. By Christmas Eve all 6000 printed copies were sold. The story was overwhelmingly received, being read and repeated in homes throughout London.

Charles Dickens had conceived the idea of writing a Christmas story less than three months earlier. The idea was partially a response to his urgent need to produce some additional income. His publisher had informed Dickens that sales of his novels were not as great as expected and that he would have to reduce the advance income due Dickens until sales increased.

Dickens described his writing plan as “a little scheme,” but as the writing of the story progressed, Dickens was overwhelmed by the story’s joyful message. He said that during the writing he “wept, and laughed, and wept again.” The little ghost story became a special project that Dickens became passionate about and finished quickly.

Charles Dickens insisted that the book contain numerous woodcuts and etchings and be well-bound. Then he also insisted that it should sell for the small price of five shillings to make it affordable to a wide audience. The book was no longer part of a personal economic plan but was a gift from Dickens to the imaginations of families everywhere and a blessing to everyone.

Dickens called his story A Christmas Carol because he expected the story to be repeated and shared and to bring people together just as the singing of Christmas carols spread joy and brought families together each season throughout London. His carol was a song of praise of the Christmas season and of the redemption of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Cleverly, Dickens called the five chapters of the book “staves.” A musical stave is a stanza with a consistent theme and mood. Each stave in the story delivers a different message and each has a definite mood. As in a carol each stave can stand alone but each contributes to the carol’s overall theme.

A good carol also contains a memorable refrain, repeated at appropriate times throughout. In Dickens’ A Christmas Carol the refrain is no doubt the blessing from Tiny Tim, “God bless us every one!” It’s a refrain that has been repeated countless times since the publishing of A Christmas Carol.

The story sings the praises of the sentiments of the Christmas season in a memorable way and will be repeated as long as carols and the Christmas season endure.

Violet’s aviation services. The ride is interrupted with

picnic feast, Violet serenades her departing passengers
with a song on her violin.

Illustrations by Barbara Fortin depict rural France, including

Can You Approach Women Like Neil Strauss Author of “The Game” Tonight?

Posted by admin on April 24th, 2009 — Posted in Bookstuff

Have you gotten a chance to read The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pick Up Artists?

You haven’t yet?

Bad, bad man. Especially seeing as you’re interested in meeting women.

We’ll I have read it. And guess what?

I want to share a secret I personally got from the writings of Neil Strauss author of “The Game”.

You see, he let us all in on a little secret!

Have you ever tried to approach a woman, and just not known what to do?

Hell, YES! (Everyone says)

Well… I have a suggestion that you can take (Or not), that has literally exploded my success with meeting and approaching women for the first time.

Would you like know what it is?

Well…

I’m not so sure.

I’ll give you this tip, and then you’ll run away, and not read my blog, and then who will be my friend?

Exactly. You see my point. Lucky I’m a nice guy though.

In the underground seduction community, you approach a woman with an “Opener”.

An opener is just what you first say in the opening lines of talking to her. Hence, it’s called an “Opener”.

So I’ll give you the simple and easy opener for approaching and meeting women. That can be used for a variety of situations.

Have you ever heard of Paris Hilton?

Hmmm…. I’m sure you have. *Wink*

Here is a real field approach and opener taken straight from the Neil Strauss book “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pick Up Artists”. (From Section 7: Extract to a Seduction Location, Chapter 8, pg. 256)

“I got up, walked into the restaurant, and saw a hot blonde chick getting salsa. So I thought, “Salsa sounds good to me.” I’ve been gearing my game up for this moment, and now it was time to take what I deserved. So I walked over to her side and pretended like I was just at the salsa bar by coincidence. I helped myself to some salsa, and then looked over my right shoulder at her and started the conversation with Style’s [Neil Strauss] jealous girlfriend Opener.

Papa: Hey, I need a female opinion on something?
Girl: (Smiles and looks up) Okay.
Papa: Would you date a guy who was still friends with his ex-girlfriend?
Girl: Yeah. I think so. Sure.

I started to walk away, then turned back and continued the conversation.

Papa: Hmm. Actually, this is a two-part question.
Girl: (Smiles and giggles)
Papa: Imagine you were dating a guy who was still friends with his ex-girlfriend. And you were going to move in with him but he had a drawer with pictures of his ex-girlfriend - not nude pictures or anything, just regular pictures and some letters.
Girl: Ooh. I would so get rid of them. I would put them in a box.

I cut her off and continued with the opener…”

You were wondering who that girl was huh?

Well… Yes, that girl was Paris Hilton.

Amazing isn’t it?!

This ‘Jealous Girlfriend Opener’ is common within the seduction community. And hundreds of pickup artists around the world use it now.

I can tell you are a person of originality. Someone who doesn’t want to be ‘fake.’

So…

I know of a book, which gives you a specific formula on how to make your own “Openers”.

This book states: (pg 100)

“Opinion Openers are, for my money, the best type of Openers out there. This is because these types of Openers are engaging, do not telegraph interest, and can lead to some really great conversations.

The best way to engage someone for the first time is by asking their opinion on something. When doing so, you are able to get them to invest their own personal thoughts and feelings into your burgeoning conversation. And once that’s invested, they are more likely to commit themselves to the interaction.

A good Opinion Opener can be anything that does not telegraph interest, while presenting options to your target that helps to encourage them to give and expand upon their opinion…”

That is just one part of the explanation and he later gives you a detailed way to create your own Opinion Openers.

Alright!

So you understand the basic idea of what an Opinion Opener is, correct?

Well, what about a…

  • Advice Opener
  • Compliment Opener
  • Direct Opener
  • Drama Opener
  • Insult Opener
  • Joke Opener
  • Online Opener
  • Roleplay Opener
  • Situational Opener
  • Etc…

Throughout the course of his book, he breaks these Openers down for you, defines them, gives you examples of them, and even shows you the structure of each Opener so you’ll know how to construct hundreds for your own personality and whichever situation you could possibly ever meet women in!

Imagine:

  • Walking up to any girl and getting her number
  • Creating an interesting and addictive conversation with a woman you just met
  • Eliminating your fear of rejection with women

This book is a must for ANY man who has a healthy sexual appetite for beautiful women.

Is that you?? Maybe… (I hope so…)

I have referred my best friends to this book that have come to me for advice about approaching women. It is an essential resource for a man to have in his arsenal to attract any woman.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you the name.

Art of Approaching 2nd Edition by Thundercat.

Guess what else? There are plenty of other (not just Openers) easy-to-use techniques broken down in his book “Art of Approaching” which you can gain access through my website.

You’ll love it. I promise.

After studying behavior for many years, I know one thing: If you don’t make the decision to get this part of your life handled right now, there’s a very very small chance that you’re going to do anything about it in the future.

You know how they say that you can’t tell someone how to get somewhere unless you’ve been there yourself? Well I’ve been there, and I’m going to show you the way. Think about it…

The Power of 2 - AchieveMax(r) Top Ten Book Review

Posted by admin on April 24th, 2009 — Posted in Bookstuff

The Power of 2: Win Big with People in Your Work and in Life by Anthony C. Scire

Here is another in a growing number of “mini-books,” 170 pages in this case, which seem to be taking over book store shelves from coast to coast. What’s interesting about this trend lies in the fact that some of the shorter books pack more power in the way of useful information than many of the 500-page monsters we so often see. This is obviously the case in Anthony C. Scire’s The Power of 2.

The subject matter of this particular book falls into another category for me. The content revolves around networking and human relationships which is critical in assisting anyone in their effort to excel in all areas of work and life. Therefore, wouldn’t it make sense to expose our younger generations to such valuable resources at a very early age? I’d like to see the concepts in this book shared with students as young as middle-school age. I’m certain it would impact their high school, college and early work life in a very positive way. Networking is one of the many areas we share with our audiences ranging in ages from 12 to 25, and this book, written in the tradition of Dale Carnegie’s classic, How to Win Friends and Influence People, cuts to the core of what it takes to win BIG with people. It is an easy-to-read, powerful approach to starting and building relationships and solving people problems.

Don’t misunderstand me. This is far from a children’s book. I’m simply convinced it contains a very important message for all ages. I’ve worked with a large number of front-line employees, middle-managers, CEOs, and board members who would benefit greatly from the proven methods and skills shared within these pages. The Golden Rule of networking is simply this: All things being equal, people will do business with and refer business to those people they know, like, and trust. That’s it. That’s what it’s all about and Anthony C. Scire presents timeless principles for building productive, enduring relationshipskey ingredients to success and happiness. Tony shares pertinent anecdotes and penetrating insights from his wealth of experiences. He teaches you how to meet more people, build finer relationships, and better nurture the ones you already have. The Power of 2 gives you the edge in getting results by sharing these wonderful gifts:

  • How to create verbal magic and become a people magnet.
  • The secrets of expanding your sphere of influence by using The Power of 2 business card technique.
  • How to build the sincere, long-lasting, loyal, productive friendships of peak performers.
  • How to turn more contacts into contracts.
  • Creative approaches to overcoming the relationships challenges of communicating electronically.
  • How to create an automatic can-do spirit to eliminate procrastination and stagnation.
  • The Ten Commandments of High-Touch Relationship Building.
  • How to receive gratitude in the form of referrals, new business, and greater cooperation.

Don’t expect a theory book or a “quick fix.” You won’t find it here. This is a philosophy which will transform every area of your work and life. You’ll learn why it’s essential to care about others and build relationships. It’s the best way to make a difference, reach worthwhile dreams and goals, and have truly rich life experiences. The Power of 2 is a thoroughly practical and even inspired resource especially suited to the paradoxically globalized yet socially isolated world of today. This one belongs on your bookshelf.

The Living Will

Posted by admin on April 24th, 2009 — Posted in Living With The Law

A living will is not about who inherits your stocks and bonds when you die and it doesn’t designate who gets the family home or your mother’s jewelry. What a living will does is establish your wishes about what happens to you should you become terminally ill or permanently incapacitated. A living will is a binding set of advanced medical directives that dictates whether you will be kept alive via life support devices, or whether and when to pull the plug on those devices. Having a living will in place means that you make your final decisions rather than depending on your relatives or the state to make them. It can save turmoil and confusion over what you might have wanted, and it can spare your children or other heirs from having to make judgments they would rather not have to make.

What happens when you cannot speak for yourself?
If you have not explicitly left instructions in the form of a living will, you are entirely at the mercy of others. Any number of events - a car accident, a heart attack or a blood clot, for example - can render a person permanently unable to speak and act on their own behalf. You might be allowed to die when you wished to be resuscitated or you might be kept alive through artificial means when you wished to be allowed to die. In a worst case scenario, you could even become an unwilling pawn in moral and legal arguments between competing political entities.

The Terry Schiavo case in Florida, which played out over the past decade and resulted in Schiavo’s death, provides a sad and gruesome illustration of the need for a living will.

• Schiavo’s ex-husband asserted that she had indicated, at some point during their marriage, that she would not want to live in a permanent vegetative state.

• Her parents wanted to keep her alive and argued that her, and their, Catholic beliefs precluded removing life support.

• The case was in and out of court with suits and counter suits that went on for years while Schiavo unknowingly awaited her fate in a nursing home.

• Conservative activists weighed in on the right to life and liberal activists weighed in on the right to death.

• Everyone from the Governor of Florida to Pope John Paul II and the worldwide media argued about Terry Schiavo.

• Ultimately, the ex-husband won the day in court; Schiavo was disconnected from the feeding and hydration tubes, and she slowly starved to death while the world kept vigil.

Can you prevent something similar happening to you?
While the Schiavo case is an extreme example, many families go through some version of the same agonizing process when someone they love is either devastatingly ill or injured. In truth, only you know what your last wishes really are - until and unless you put them in writing in the form of a living will. Here’s how it works:

• A living will only becomes effective if you are terminally ill or permanently incapacitated. Laws in most states direct that two doctors determine when a situation is hopeless.

• You have the right, under common law, to refuse any unwanted medical procedure, including insertion of a feeding/hydration tube. Conversely, you also have the right to receive the same lifesaving medical procedures.

• Even when doctors believe that there is no hope of recovery, they are bound by medical ethics to provide lifesaving procedures until a court order directs them otherwise.

• Both the medical community and the courts, however, must abide by your pre-determined wishes, if they are written down in the form of a living will.

• Families do not have to guess, second-guess one another, or spend the rest of their lives with doubts and regrets, if they know they are following your express wishes.

How do you go about making a living will?

Ideally, the best option is to consult an attorney and have a legally unchallengeable living will prepared. However, there are numerous Internet sites that provide forms and instructions for creating an adequate living will that will hold up in any state court. The pertinent question isn’t really whether or not you need a living will, but how soon you can put one in place.

Cut-price Medical Insurance Plans for College Students

Posted by admin on April 23rd, 2009 — Posted in Hall Of Health, Insurance Portal, Schools + Schooling

Health insurance usually isn’t top priority when preparing for an education. Broadly Speaking, health insurance is the last thing on a student’s mind. Teenagers tend to believe they will be around forever and naturally they will never find themselves suffering from a serious illness. Unluckily, no matter how fit a person is, it is no guarantee of their future health. An inexpensive health insurance plan is not a luxury, it’s an absolute essential.

Students who are included in their parent’s health insurance are in general covered up until their twenty third birthday. For individuals who don’t currently have cover via a family plan, a crucial part in budgeting for a college education will be finding suitable medical insurance. So what must a student look for in a policy for students? Deductibles: It is a minimum yearly sum you have to pay before the medical benefits begin, the same as an auto deductible. To illustrate, should the deductible be 500 dollars, $500 has to be paid before receiving any financial benefits from the plan. So what precisely does co-pay mean? When your deductible is met, in general for each visit to the doctor, medication, and procedure you’ll need to contribute a pre-determined part of the bill. This is called co-pay. What is your scope of cover? Numerous health insurance policies are Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Partnership for Prescription Assistance. This usually means particular physicians may not be included in your list of health providers and might not be covered by a medical insurance policy. Most policies provide a directory of approved professionals, be sure to take that into consideration when you are choosing medical insurance.

What does the term catastrophic coverage imply? Limitations are frequent in medical insurance specifically for students especially with reference to catastrophic illness, and for most medical insurance policies for students, it is usually less than a regular medical insurance policy.

What about the limits? Low-cost student health insurance policies may set various limitations. Read over your insurance policy to check what is in reality covered.

Keep any health insurance details with you everywhere. It’s not only impossible to predict accidents or illness, but they are in all probability likely to happen when you least anticipate them. So make sure you are familiar with the ins and outs unique to your plan, whether through your parent’s policy or with your own selection of insurance.

Asbestos and Mesothelioma

Posted by admin on April 20th, 2009 — Posted in Living With The Law

Asbestos has been praised throughout history because it is fire resistant, strong, and versatile. Ancient Romans wove asbestos fibers into napkins and tablecloths and merely threw them into a fire to clean them. Even at this primitive stage in human history, many noted that those who were exposed to asbestos suffered terrible breathing problems and general ill health, but lacked the ability to properly diagnose the condition. Thousands of years later, asbestos was used again by metal and ceramic workers to protect themselves from the hazards of their professions. Also, because fire was a constant danger, the Industrial Revolution of the 19th and early 20th centuries used asbestos to safeguard factories and products at the cost of the health of the workers. After a time, asbestos became integral to thousands of products as diverse as brake shoes, cement, insulation, and even oven mitts. Proliferation of this vital but dangerous material threatened the lives of millions. It is well known to cause serious medical conditions such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. Asbestos Effects As medical technology became more sophisticated, doctors began to finally understand the effects of asbestos on the human body. Asbestos shards are invisible to the naked eye, and their small size and light weight allows them to remain airborne for an extended period after initial release. Furthermore, because asbestos is fibrous by nature, it continues to break into smaller and smaller particles, meaning one asbestos particle can beget hundreds of smaller ones. The size, weight, and composition of asbestos conspire to increase accumulation in the body which contributes to potential exposure to the deadly cancer mesothelioma. Mesothelioma Occurs As asbestos particles enter the body, they begin to accumulate in the respiratory and digestive systems. These fibers are so small they often penetrate organs at the microscopic level, protruding through organs into the body cavity. Mesothelioma occurs when asbestos fibers mutate the cells on the lining that surrounds the interior body cavity, called the mesothelium. The mesothelium is a layer of cells that secretes lubrication that allows organs like the heart and lungs to move properly. As these cells mutate and die, lungs cannot take in as much air, and the heart experiences great difficulty beating. Also, since the lungs are responsible for providing air to the blood, cancerous mesothelioma cells can spread all throughout the body through the bloodstream, further complicating an already deadly condition. Link Between Asbestos and Mesothelioma There is little doubt about the link between asbestos and mesothelioma. What is in doubt is the role asbestos companies are responsible for their negligence in failing to warn people about the dangers of their products. If you or someone you love suffers from mesothelioma, you have the right to consult an attorney. A knowledgeable lawyer is the first step in pursing a settlement to recover damages caused to you by asbestos. Don’t hesitate though, for your state limits the amount of time you have to initiate legal action.
